Merool Palomino Stud was established by Jim, Heather & Garry Nichols on the banks of the mighty Murray River Moama, NSW, in 1966, and later incorporated the registration of the Australian Stock Horse. Now run by Jim and Heather's daughter, Dianne, at Girgarre Victoria, the stud continues to produce versatile horses to suit the serious competitor or the more relaxed rider wanting a reliable, well tempered, equine partner.
